Acordial greeting in Jesus Eucharist to the brothers of the Province of Pope Saint John XXIII Colombia-Peru. We want to share with you the beginning of the novitiate as the most important stage of the training process. We arrived in Brazil on January 6 to the city of Belo Horizonte, where Mateo and Gleison were waiting for us to go to the novitiate house in Sete Lagoas.

Father Marcelo, the Provincial of Brazil, together with the local community welcomed us. As an opening to the novitiate, the liturgy of the word was celebrated as a rite of initiation, during which we received the novitiate crosses. Then we proceeded to the table to share a fraternal lunch with our new community of the novitiate, where we will share, learn and live our Eucharistic Spirituality. Then we began the retreat with the text about the disciples of Emmaus, a space to find oneself to begin the novitiate.

Thus, we continue to be encouraged by God's inspiration to our founder Saint Peter-Julian Eymard, in the Eucharistic charism, and during this favourable time to deepen in this stage of the novitiate everything related to our charism, in view of religious consecration.
